Why You Should Look Into the Newcastle Writing Conference
Hola! Today I am writing about a specific writing event that intrigued me; the Newcastle Writing Conference. I'm not really sure where all of you guys live so I looked into something pretty far away from me (I live in New England) at Newcastle, England. This writing conference is particularly for new writers who are fighting frustration, writer’s block, etc.. This event has been going on since 2008 when Northumbria University and New Writing North combined forces to inspire writers. Guest speakers such as authors and well-known writers are meant to motivate you to start publishing at this conference. The Newcastle Writing Conference also gets political by trying to make change in the publishing industry. This event discusses how the publishing community could become more flexible and how publishers could help more writers accomplish their dreams/goals. Sorry that was really short, but that is the gist of it. Anyways, the Newcastle Writing Conference is a really great writing event meant to change publishing and motivate writers. If you live near or are stopping by Newcastle, England around May 18th (the date might be different next year) I recommend you stop by Live Theatre to experience the Newcastle Writing Conference. Here is a link to information on this event from one of the two amazing writing programs that run this awesome event: http://newwritingnorth.com/newcastle-writing-conference-2019/
Just a note, there are few spots at this conference so order your tickets early! I hope you guys enjoyed this blog post! I'll write next week.
